How 19-Year-Old Pro Brooke Revuelta Took Pickleball Global with the Armed Forces
When most 19-year-olds are picking college majors or planning spring break, Brooke Revuelta was packing paddles for a mission across the world. Between February and April 2025, the Miami native became the youngest professional athlete to join the Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) Pickleball Tour—the first pickleball goodwill tour organized by the U.S. Department of Defense to boost morale among deployed service members.
Brooke and a small crew of pros spent three months hosting clinics, competitions, and exhibitions at 12 U.S. military bases in Turkey, Kosovo, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. They rallied with troops, coached family members, and proved that a paddle and positive energy can travel anywhere.
“It’s not about medals or rankings—it’s about connection,” Brooke said. “We showed that a paddle and a smile can cross any border.”

From Teen Talent to Tour Trailblazer
Brooke grew up in Miami’s energetic tennis scene before switching to pickleball—drawn to its community, athleticism, and fun. Within a year, she was competing professionally on the APP Tour and earning a reputation as a player who plays with purpose.
When the Armed Forces Entertainment team came calling, it felt meant to be. Service runs deep in her family—her great-grandfather, grandfather, and stepfather all served in the U.S. military—so this wasn’t just another stop. It was a way to give back through the sport she loves.

Across bases from Europe to the Middle East and Asia, Brooke and her teammates hosted beginner clinics, ran “play with the pros” exhibitions, and joined family-day matches where laughter mattered more than line calls. She saw firsthand how pickleball helps people reconnect and recharge—even thousands of miles from home.
“It reminded me why I fell in love with the game,” she shared. “Pickleball brings people together—it’s the same energy whether you’re in Miami or Turkey.”
Why We Love Her
Brooke Revuelta represents the next generation of pickleball: young, fearless, community-minded, and full of heart. Her global journey shows how women in the sport can lead with empathy and enthusiasm—serving not just on the court, but in life.
She came home with stories of gratitude, friendship, and a renewed belief that connection is the real win. And honestly? We couldn’t agree more.
Pickleball is more than a game—it’s a gateway to connection, courage, and community. Whether you’re teaching a friend to serve, joining a local ladder league, or organizing a charity open, you are part of this movement, too.
