National Junior Pickleball Tour Gears Up for Biggest Tournament in History at JOOLA Celebration
Kissimmee, FL – August 29-September 1, 2025
The National Junior Pickleball (NJP) Tour is about to make history. As part of the 2025 JOOLA Celebration, NJP will host its largest-ever juniors-only tournament – bringing together over 200 athletes aged 8-18 from across the United States, plus competitors from Ecuador and South Korea.
“This will be our biggest tournament yet,” says NJP Tour founder Courtney Loughridge. “Our past events have reliably drawn 100+ players, but this one blew past expectations. We sold out the primary venue at Gaylord Palms Resort back in May, then partnered with Crush Yard Orlando to open more sports. Now we’re down to just three openings before we sell out for the second time.”
Four Days. Four Events. Nonstop Play.
The NJP tournament will take over the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center (with overflow singles play at Crush Yard Orlando). Players will compete in:
Friday, August 29 – Skills Clinics & Evaluation Session
Saturday, August 30 – Gender Singles Competition
Sunday, August 31 – Co-Ed Doubles Competition
Monday, September 1 – Four-Player Team Competition
Every division is organized by age and DUPR rating. Matches throughout all events will have refs during pool play, plus all medal matched will be reffed to ensure fair play and good sportsmanship. And the round-robin format means players get a lot of court time, not just a quick bracket run.
Raising the Bar for Junior Pickleball
The National Junior Pickleball Tour welcomes all skill levels – from first-time tournament players to seasoned juniors with play experience. Players without partners are welcome, as NJP’s matchmaking system helps connect athletes before competition.
In advanced divisions, gold medalists in singles or doubles will earn a JOOLA paddle, free entry into October’s NJP Championship Cup, and for one standout player, a year-long JOOLA Junior Player sponsorship. JOOLA reps will be scouting athletes who show not just skill, but inclusion, innovation, and sportsmanship.
More Than Just Matches
The weekend also features:
Pro Player Exhibition – Monday evening with Team JOOLA’s top pros, plus a meet & greet.
Product Demos – Test JOOLA’s newest paddles, apparel, and gear.
Community Connection – Meet players and families from across the U.S. and around the world.
A Professional Platform for Young Athletes
National Junior Pickleball has quickly become a driving force in developing youth talent, combining top-tier competition with a positive, inclusive environment. By holding events at premier venues, providing certified referees, and creating pathways to compete. NJP is setting a high standard for junior pickleball.
This year’s JOOLA Celebration marks a major milestone – not just for NJP, but for the growth of the sport among young players worldwide.
The 2025 National Junior Pickleball Tour isn’t done yet. Players can still register for the Midwest Regional and the Championship Cup, the final two stops on this year’s calendar.
