Major League Pickleball Is Closing Its 2026 Season at Disney

The Major League Pickleball 2026 regular season finale is heading to Orlando—and it’ll take place at Disney.

With players constantly moving around in MLP, it’s easy to switch up your favorite team. One year it’s the Chicago Slice, the next year it’s the 5s.

For me, it’s the Orlando Squeeze.

I saw their merch at an event a few years ago and was in. I still wear my Squeeze shirt at least once a week, which makes this news even better…

The Orlando Squeeze will host the 2026 regular season finale from July 30 through August 2, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex inside Walt Disney World Resort.

“It is a tremendous milestone for MLP to add pro pickleball to the storied list of sports events that have been hosted at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World,” said Samin Odhwani, MLP Commissioner. “I can’t think of a better place to close out our regular season and finalize our 2026 playoff field.”

It’s the final stop before playoffs, and one of the bigger venues MLP has used this season.

This Is Where the MLP Season Gets Decided

The MLP Orlando 2026 finale is the last stop before playoffs—and it decides everything.

Seeding. Momentum. Who’s locked in. Who’s barely holding on.

It’s the last chance for teams to secure their position or completely shake things up heading into postseason play.

If you’ve watched MLP before, you already know the format moves fast. Add real pressure, and it starts to feel a lot closer to playoff-level competition than a typical regular season event.

Why the Orlando Squeeze Are Hosting

The Squeeze are a strong choice to host this.

Owned by the DeVos family—the same group behind the Orlando Magic—they’ve already proven they can build both a competitive roster and a real local following.

They won a championship in their first season. Since then, they’ve focused on building a presence in Central Florida through events, exhibitions, and a fan base that actually shows up.

They also have the No. 1 men’s singles player Federico Staksrud in the world on their roster, so the level of play in Orlando should reflect that.

Why This Event Matters for Pickleball

The Major League Pickleball Orlando finale is a snapshot of where the sport is heading.

Bigger venues. Structured leagues. Team people actually follow.

Even if you don’t follow pro pickleball closely, this is the kind of event that shows what the next version of the sport could look like.
